Huntsville School District will be closed on Friday, January 10th, due to forecasted snow and potentially hazardous road conditions.
🔹 This closure will use one of our built-in weather days from the 2024-2025 calendar, so there will be no change to the end of the school year.
🔹 All athletic events, games, and other scheduled activities for Friday have been postponed.

🚨 Early Dismissal Announcement for Tomorrow, January 9th 🚨
After monitoring the weather and consulting with other districts, we have made the decision to dismiss school early tomorrow, January 9th. With winter weather expected to move in later in the afternoon, our priority is the safety of our students and staff. Our goal is to ensure everyone is home before conditions worsen.
Dismissal times are as follows:
📚 Watson Primary & Intermediate – 1:30 PM
📚 Huntsville Middle School – 1:45 PM
📚 Huntsville High School – 2:00 PM
📚 St. Paul – 1:30 PM
Please Note: If the weather arrives earlier than expected, dismissal times may be adjusted.

This is a friendly reminder for all of our graduates and their families that any senior who is driving needs to be at the Charles Berry gymnasium by 5:25 PM. They will be shuttled over to the activity center. If you are dropping your senior off, they must be at the activity center by 5:30 PM. You may drop them off at the rear entrance. The doors will open at 6 PM for the activity center for the public. Graduation starts at 7 PM. Included is a parking map for your convenience. Eagle families don’t forget that we have Atlas testing this week Tues-Thurs for 9th and 10th grade for a few hours each morning. For 11th and 12th, this is a regular school day. We have strategically made provisions to ensure that 11th and 12th graders donot lose instruction time. Attendance will be taken.

Solar Eclipse April 8, 2024
Due to the solar eclipse that will occur between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m. on April 8th and based on the recommendation from the Madison County Emergency Management team regarding concerns about increased road traffic afterward, the Huntsville School District will dismiss early. Our St. Paul campus will dismiss at approximately 2:00 p.m., and our Huntsville campus will begin dismissal at 2:15 p.m.
