Due to the freezing rain received overnight, the Huntsville School District is currently under an Ice Storm Warning. With icy roads and unsafe travel conditions expected for this morning, we have decided to cancel school for today, January 22nd. The safety of our students and staff is always our first priority.
After careful consideration and evaluation of our current road conditions, we have decided that due to the still poor road conditions and being unable to run our bus routes safely, we will not be able to have school tomorrow, Friday, January 19th. December 20th is Clash of the Carolers at Huntsville Intermediate. 3rd Graders wear white, 4th Graders wear green, and 5th Graders wear red. Also, this is classroom Christmas party day.
December 19th is Ugly Sweater Day at Huntsville Intermediate.

Intermediate is having a parent night, December 19th starting at 5pm. Come make crafts, listen to stories with elves, sing Christmas songs, Explore Whoville and the Polar Express, and take pictures with Santa all for free! Lets make your Christmas one to remember.
Need to finish up on Christmas shopping? HMS East program has a great plan for parents. Saturday, December 16th, from 6:00pm-10:00pm. This is for ages 5-12 years old. These forms will be in the office for kids to pick up if parents want one. With the forms you are required to fill out the questions about any allergies your kids have, medical issues, and emergency contacts. Please the form to the office.
