School Climate Survey Information for Parents Survey link: https://bit.ly/4dUXVPX Our highest priority at the Huntsville School District is ensuring the safety, well-being, and success of our students and staff. Seeking insight from all stakeholders provides us with an opportunity to work together and contribute to a shared school vision. School climate refers to the quality and character of school life, and research has shown that it has a very sizable impact on student learning. The School Climate Survey serves as a tool to help administrators gain an in-depth understanding of our school climate and how campus administration can best meet the needs of our students, families, faculty, and staff. Participants will be asked about their perceptions of student engagement, school environment, and safety. The Google Form Survey linked below can be accessed online from May 24, 2024, to June 7, 2024. The survey results, which are entirely anonymous and will not identify any person or their responses, will help our district improve student relationships, learning conditions, and the school's overall environment. As always, our ultimate goal is to continually foster student growth and achievement and ensure our students, faculty, and staff's sense of well-being. Your participation in the School Climate Survey is not only valuable but crucial. Your insights and perspectives as parents are essential in shaping our school environment. We encourage you to take the time to fill out the survey. Please remember that it must be completed online via the link listed above by June 7, 2024.

🎉Join us in welcoming Mr. Bryan Law to the Huntsville School District Family! 🎉 Mr. Law will serve as the interim Superintendent of School beginning July 1, 2024. Mr. Law is finishing his 36th year in Education. He served as Superintendent of Farmington Public Schools from 2012 to 2020 and, most recently, as the Director of the Northwest Arkansas Education Service Cooperative for the past 4 years. He is a graduate of Arkansas Tech, obtaining his Master of Education in 2003 from Harding University. “ I am very excited to be joining the team in Huntsville and St. Paul. Liz and I are proud to live in the community. I have greatly enjoyed the relationships I currently have, and I look forward to meeting the staff, students, and other areas of the District.” #HSDistheplacetobe

Graduation Information: This is just a friendly reminder for all of our graduates and their families that any senior who is driving needs to be at the Charles Berry Gymnasium (old gym) by 5:25 pm; they will be shuttled over to the Activity Center. If you are dropping your senior off, they still need to be at the Activity Center by 5:30 pm; you may drop them off at the rear entrance. The doors will open at 6 pm for the Activity Center; graduation starts at 7 pm. Included is a parking map for your convenience. The address for the Activity Center is 351 Eagle Ave. Thank you! #HSDistheplacetobe

🎉 Join us in welcoming Mr. Mike Nichols to the Huntsville School District Family! 🎉 Mr. Nichols will serve as the Huntsville High School principal starting this Fall. Mr. Nichols is finishing his 29th year in Education, with the past 16 years being in building administration roles at all grade levels. He is a graduate of Arkansas Tech, he obtained his Masters in Ed Leadership in 2008, and then obtained his Specialist in Superintendencey in 2014. He has coached high school basketball for 10 years while teaching 7th thru 12th grade math and social studies. He is currently finishing his first year as the Mount Ida High School principal after serving Paris Schools for the previous 8 years (3 years as a middle school principal and 5 years as a high school principal). " It's an honor to be chosen as HHS principal. I believe in "we" over "me." I'm excited to partner with dedicated teachers and staff, as well as the many supportive parents and community members of Huntsville. Together, we will continue the great work that's already been done, and we will seek new opportunities and challenges for our students. My wife, Shay, is a pharmacist, and we have two grown children: Michael, 26, and Caleb, 21. Although we're all about the work, we're still die-hard Razorback fans. We enjoy the outdoors: walking, hiking, and sightseeing. We also enjoy traveling the country when we have the chance. We're looking forward to being part of the wonderful Huntsville community, as well as being Huntsville Eagles!"
